The 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' star and his wife Lauren Sorrentino welcomes their first child Romeo Reign Sorrentino who measured 19 inches long at the time of his birth.

AceShowbiz - Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is now officially a dad. After welcoming his first child with wife Lauren Sorrentino, the "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" star introduced his newborn baby boy through a series of sweet photos he uploaded on social media.
On Thursday, May 27, the 38-year-old took to Instagram to share images of his little boy. In one picture, his newborn was wrapped up in a blanket bearing prints of his name. He also included snaps of Lauren holding their son in the hospital; one of which saw him posing beside his wife bed with a wide smile on his face.
In another photo, Mike could be seen smiling ear-to-ear while cradling his newborn. Along with those images, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum gave a smiling face with hearts and rocket emojis as well as his baby boy's name, "Romeo Reign Sorrentino," as the caption.
Mike's baby announcement has drawn warm congratulation messages from his fellow "Jersey Shore" co-stars. Jenni "Jwoww" Farley exclaimed in the comment section of his post, "I'm so happy!!!!!" Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, in the meantime, chimed in, "WELCOME BABY!!!!!!"
DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino did not miss out on a chance to celebrate the birth of Mike's baby boy. 40-year-old DJ wrote, "Welcome to the family Romeo!!!!!! [love] can't wait to meet ya," while 33-year-old Vinny simply added, "Congrats !!!"
Deena Nicole Cortese, who gave birth to her second baby Cameron in early May, also gushed, "Love you all so much !!!! Cameron can't wait to meet his bestie [love]." Additionally, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro penned, "Congratulations brother send my love to Laurenzz!!! So happy he's look like Laurenz and not you. miss you bro!!!"
Offering more details about the baby boy, Mike and his wife Lauren took to the Instagram account they created for their baby boy. Alongside the photo of the newborn, they dished that their son was born on Wednesday, May 26. He weighed 6lbs., 8oz. and measured 19 inches long at the time of his birth.
Mike announced Lauren's pregnancy in November 2020, one year after his wife suffered a miscarriage. About the heartbreaking loss, his wife opened up in an interview on "Strahan, Sara and Keke" interview. "At about six-and-a-half, seven weeks, I miscarried," she said. "It was heart-wrenching." She added, "It was hard. It was really difficult."
