Mike Sorrentino, known as 'The Situation' from 'Jersey Shore', has turned his life around after struggling with addiction and is now dedicated to helping others overcome substance abuse.

AceShowbiz - Mike Sorrentino (The Situation), the sober "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" star, is committed to paying it forward by spearheading "door-to-door interventions" for individuals grappling with substance abuse. Alongside co-founding Archangel Centers, addiction and mental health treatment facilities, Sorrentino is determined to guide addicts towards recovery.

"We're going to start to go door to door [...] We're going to be doing interventions and course-correcting addicts' lives away from active addiction and into recovery," Sorrentino stated.

Previously, Sorrentino admitted to spending nearly $500,000 on cocaine and oxycodone at the height of his addiction. He confessed to Entertainment Tonight that he carried drugs extensively, including on airplanes, and struggled to conceal his habit from the "Jersey Shore" production crew.

Sorrentino's battle with drugs culminated in an attempt at heroin, but he found redemption in rehab in 2015. Now, with nine years of sobriety under his belt, he is eager to share his experience, strength, and hope with others seeking recovery.

Speaking on Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" podcast, Sorrentino hinted at a possible TV project centered around Archangel Centers. He noted, "If you deserve it, the universe is going to serve it! [...] But I'm going to say there might be something in the works."

Sorrentino's transformation has been a testament to his resilience and determination. He has emerged from his struggles as a role model, inspiring others to overcome adversity and embrace a life free from addiction.
