Billboard Music Awards 2021: The Weeknd, Pop Smoke, BTS Dominate Full Winner List

The 'Blinding Lights' crooner snatches ten awards, including the coveted Top Artist title, the late rapper posthumously wins five awards, while the 'Dynamite' hitmaker bags four.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd has got his moment of redemption at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards after being snubbed from this year's Grammy Awards. Dominating the nomination list with 16 nods, the Canadian singer/songwriter came out as the biggest winner at the Sunday, May 23 ceremony.

The "Save Your Tears" crooner bagged a total of 10 awards, including the coveted prize of Top Artist. He edged out other strong contenders namely Drake, Juice WRLD, Pop Smoke and Taylor Swift to win the category.

He once again defeated Drake and Pop Smoke in the Top Hot 100 Artist and Top Male Artist category, in addition to scoring Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Radio Song and Top Hot 100 Song, the latest two were for his 2019 hit "Blinding Lights". The 31-year-old further showed his domination in the R&B category as he's named Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Male Artist, while his set "After Hours" was picked as Top R&B Album and his single "Blinding Lights" was chosen as Top R&B Song.

Pop Smoke, meanwhile, was posthumously honored with five awards. He was hailed as Top New Artist, Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Male Artist, while his posthumous album "Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon" was dubbed Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Rap Album.

BTS was another artist bagging multiple awards at the show. The South Korean boy group won Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Social Artist, as well as Top Selling Song for the 2020 hit "Dynamite".

Gabby Barrett and Morgan Wallen scored three awards each. The former nabbed Top Country Female Artist, Top Country Song and Top Collaboration, the latest two were for "I Hope" ft. Charlie Puth. "The Voice" alum Wallen, meanwhile, won Top Country Artist, Top Country Male Artist and Top Country Album despite being banned from the telecast due to his N-word controversy earlier this year.

Taylor Swift was named Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist, while Kanye West was victorious in gospel categories, taking home Top Gospel Artist and Top Gospel Song for "Wash Us in the Blood" ft. Travis Scott (II).

Other winners included Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Bunny, Karol G, Eslabon Armado, Lady GaGa and Carrie Underwood. Drake also didn't come home empty handed as he was honored with Artist of the Decade in addition to winning Top Streaming Songs Artist award.
