AceShowbiz - The online conversation about Nicki Minaj being the product of Lil' Kim has yet to end. LisaRaye McCoy is the recent celebrity to weigh in on the debate, which was first sparked by Usher, as she let everyone know that she's team Lil' Kim.

LisaRaye weighed in on the matter while stopping by the recent episode of the interactive TV show "FOX Soul", where host Claudia Jordan, who also defended Lil' Kim, brought the subject up to the discussion. Echoing the sentiment, Lisa said, "We can all stand together queens and we can all say that all of us are acknowledging the fact that Kim came before Nicki Minaj. So Nicki, just take a seat."

"You don't have to sit down for long, but just take a bow. Just like [Beyonce Knowles] said, 'Bow down b****es,' " she added.

Nicki's fans quickly reacted to the comment. "Nicki don't have to bow down to nobody. Have a seat auntie," one of them stated. Another fan noted that Lil' Kim got publicity thanks to Nicki, saying, "Now what's really sad is that lil Kim name can get this much hype is when Nicki is being brought up where was this energy when Lil Kim's album dropped."

"Bow down ? Nicki always acknowledged Lil Kim what more y'all want from her. she been surpassed her they not even in the same era," said someone else. Seemingly thinking that the shade was unnecessary, one other user wrote, "Nicki didn't even say anything and Lisa is saying she needs to sit down and bow down."

The whole Nicki Minaj and Lil' Kim conversation started after Usher and Swizz Beatz discussed whose "Verzuz" battles that fans had been wanting to see. "I see a lot of, Lil' Kim versus Foxy Brown. Then I see a lot of - Lil' Kim versus Nicki? I see a lot of that," Swizz said on May 17. However, Usher didn't think the latter was possible because "Nicki is a product of Kim."

His remark quickly gained reactions from social media users as Swizz alerted Usher, "You already trending on Twitter right now, by the way." He went on enthusing, "This is the 'Verzuz' effect, king. I see you trending on Twitter! This is special, this is fun."

Among those who responded to it was Tamar Braxton, who passionately said, "I think of them as two different entities. I don't give a damn, what come, what may, Lil' Kim did not give Nicki Minaj her talent. So, therefore, who are you to take Nicki Minaj talents away from her?"

"They are both amazing female emcees. They paved the way for all of these emcees--female emcees--out here and all of them to make money. You cannot discredit people," she continued.
