AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aydin of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is the latest celebrity to announce that she's tested positive for Coronavirus. The Bravo personality shared the news on her Instagram account, detailing her recent condition.
In the Wednesday, April 9 video that she took from bed, Jennifer told her followers that her husband, plastic surgeon Bill Aydin, brought home a test for her after she'd been symptomatic for several days. "Why I've been MIA: I've been sick for the past 10 days and Monday is when my test came back positive," she captioned the video.
She explained in the video, "My symptoms started last week on Monday where I felt extreme fatigue... no fever. I was asking Bill to bring home a test for me but he was reluctant at first because I didn't have the normal symptom like a fever or heavy cough. So by day two or three, I insisted that he brings home a test."
"I've been doing better now, which is why I'm checking in," Jennifer added. "There were a few rough days where I was just extremely and sleeping a lot. I have this very dense headache and extreme, extreme night sweat. I lost my sense of taste and smell."
Sharing that she's been feeling better now, Jennifer continued, "Today is actually 10 days out from the first day I started feeling the symptoms. So I'll keep you guys posted on how I'm feeling. I just want to keep you guys in update to why I haven't been posting much."
The TV star also said that she's been staying away from her kids and "quarantined in my room." She continued, "I hope everybody is well and staying home, 'cause right now it's all that we have to do. Just stay at home to prevent the spread of this awful disease. And remember guys, we're all in this together. Stay safe, be well!"
Aydin joined former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Jim Edmonds, Tom Hanks, Pink, Idris Elba and more, in announcing their COVID-19 diagnosis. The disease has claimed more than 14,800 lives in the U.S.
