AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Jennifer Aydin is facing criticism after launching an angry rant at employees in a video she recorded at an airport Jersey Mike's Subs.
In the video, Aydin expressed frustration over the wait time for her order, complaining about the pace of service and singling out an elderly employee. She also clashed with another customer who refused to let her add to her order after she had already placed it.
The altercation escalated when, according Aydin, the other customer who claimed to be a law professor threatened to sue her if she posted her video and dissed Aydin for wearing "fake" diamond. She angrily retorted, "I am a f***ing celebrity" and insisted her jewelry was real while bragging about her husband being a "medical doctor."
Aydin's behavior sparked widespread condemnation online, with many criticizing her for age-shaming the employees and displaying entitlement. She was also trolled for her self-proclaimed celebrity status.
"Imagine making fun of a poor women [sic] just trying to do her job during the busiest time of the year and to make it worst [sic] age shame her. Unreal," one Instagram user commented.
"What a pretentious entitled Karen - complaining about people literally making minimum-wage during the holidays…. I bet those people at Jersey Mikes work harder in one day than Jen did the entirety of 2024," wrote another.
This isn't the first time Aydin has faced criticism for her on-screen behavior. Her outspoken and often confrontational personality has made her a controversial figure among viewers.
