AceShowbiz - Adam Sandler's thriller "Uncut Gems" and Robert Pattinson's "The Lighthouse" will lead the way at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards after leading nominations with five on Thursday, November 21.
Shia LaBeouf's autobiographical film "Honey Boy" is also set for a big afternoon in February, after landing four mentions, including a Best Supporting Male nod for the "Transformers" star.
The award for the coveted Best Feature will be a scrap between "A Hidden Life", Clemency", "The Farewell", "Marriage Story", and "Uncut Gems", while Olivia Wilde's "Booksmart" is up for Best First Feature alongside "The Climb", "Diane", "The Last Black Man in San Francisco", "The Mustang", and "See You Yesterday".
