Representatives from Big Hit Entertainment have confirmed that Jin, Jimin, RM, J-Hope, V, Suga and Jungkook are flying out for a scheduled activity after just over a month of downtime.

AceShowbiz - K-pop superstars BTS (Bangtan Boys) have ended a month-long "period of rest" and returned to work.

The South Korean seven-piece stunned fans last month (August 2019) by announcing they were taking an extended break, forcing their management to clarify that the time off was a holiday rather than a lengthy hiatus.

Now representatives from their label and management firm Big Hit Entertainment have confirmed that members Jin, Jimin, RM, J-Hope, V, Suga and Jungkook are returning to work after just over a month of downtime.

"BTS has ended their period of rest and will be flying out today for a scheduled activity," a rep from the company told South Korean news outlet Newsen.

Footage obtained by Newsen also shows the boys arriving at Incheon International Airport in South Korea to catch a flight to their next destination. Their next official gig is in Saudi Arabia on October 11, but the band are well known for their promotional appearances between shows.

When announcing the break, Big Hit chiefs wrote in a statement, "This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators."

They later confirmed that the break was a holiday, rather than a hiatus, adding, "It has been widely reported that BTS will be taking a hiatus. To clarify, BTS will only be taking a brief, but well-deserved vacation."
