The 53-year-old actress reveals that she'd 'be the first person [to return],' adding, 'I never wanted it to be over. I love those characters.'

AceShowbiz - Teri Hatcher is more than ready to return to the Wisteria Lane. The former "Desperate Housewives" star shared that she's open to a reboot of the ABC drama, on which she played Susan Mayer.

During her recent appearance on ITV's "Loose Women", the 53-year-old actress revealed that she'd "be the first person [to return]." She added, "I never wanted it to be over. I love those characters."

"I don't think they're very good [people]. Just because of the creators -- it's not the women," Hatcher continued saying. "I think the women would probably all do it."

However, she admitted that while she doesn't really keep in touch with her co-stars, which include Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Nicollette Sheridan and Vanessa Williams, she still cares about them. "[I'm] definitely supportive of everything that we're all off and doing," Hatcher opened up. "Very exciting-Eva's about to have her first baby!"

Created by Marc Cherry, the show ran for eight seasons on ABC from October 2004 to May 2012. The Emmy-winning series followed the lives of a group of women as seen through the eyes of their late friend and neighbor who committed suicide in the pilot episode.

The news arrives after she shut down rumors of her being broke and homeless. Telling KTLA 5's Sam Rubin on Thursday, March 8, "On the cover yesterday [Star magazine has] an article that says exactly that--it's totally absurd--that I am broke and homeless and living out of my van. It's categorically false. I am not broke. I have done very well investing my money. I am not homeless and I am not living out of my van." She went on explaining that she's "shooting my YouTube series 'Van Therapy' in my van."

Hatcher also claimed that her team told the outlet which published the story that it was not true. However, they allegedly opted to run the story. "My lawyer and publicist said, 'Categorically not true, you can't print that, she's doing a YouTube show, that's her van, she has many homes in many states all over the country. There is nothing about this that's true.' And then they went and ran it anyway," she revealed.
