The trailer for 'Crocodile Dundee' sequel 'Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home' introduces the A-list cast, including Margot Robbie, Russell Crowe, Isla Fisher, Ruby Rose and Liam Hemsworth.

AceShowbiz - Danny McBride and some of the biggest Australia-born Hollywood stars team up for "Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home". A cast intro trailer for the so-called "Crocodile Dundee" sequel has been released, featuring McBride as Brian Dundee, the illegitimate child of Crocodile Dundee.

He is joined by Chris Hemsworth as Wally Jr., who accompanies Dundee on his journey Down Under. Hugh Jackman is introduced as the Prime Minister, Margot Robbie stars as Lil' Donk, Russell Crowe is J.P. Steele, Isla Fisher plays Dr. Clark, Ruby Rose is Chief Jackson and Liam Hemsworth stars as Wes Windsong. Jessica Mauboy and Luke Bracey will also make appearances.

While "Dundee" looks promising with its star-studded cast, unfortunately it will not come in theaters near you. It has been reported that the project is actually an advertising campaign for Australian tourism that will air during Super Bowl LII on Sunday, February 4.

Hugh Jackman and Margot Robbie recently took to their Instagram accounts to hype up "Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home". The "Logan" actor shared a cut of the fake movie and captioned it, "You didn't really think they'd bring back Dundee ... without me, did you?! #DundeeMovie."

Meanwhile, Robbie posted her photo with Paul Hogan, who played Michael "Crocodile" Dundee in the original "Crocodile Dundee" movie (1986). It appears that the actor will reprise his role in the commercial as Robbie suggested that she met the 78-year-old actor on the set of "Dundee" not too long ago.

"Crocodile Dundee" is inspired by the true life exploits of Rod Ansell. Made on a budget of under $10 million as a deliberate attempt to make a commercial Australian film that would appeal to a mainstream American audience, it became a worldwide phenomenon, becoming the second-highest-grossing film in the United States in that year.

It was followed by two sequels, "Crocodile Dundee II" (1988) and "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles" (2001), with Paul Hogan returning as Crocodile Dundee in both films.
