The Queen of Christmas has revealed on Instagram that her twins Monroe and Moroccan Cannon lent their voices for the four-minute track.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey surprised everyone on Twitter with new Christmas song "The Star" on October 19. The song will appear in the upcoming animated movie "The Star", which will be out on November 17.

The sentimental ballad gives fans an old-school feeling as the Queen of Christmas sings, "Follow that star above you/ Should the world try to break you down/ There is one who waits for you/ Though you can't see him now."

Mariah revealed that she brought her little best friends in the track. On the same day as the track's release, Mariah posted on Instagram a picture of herself and her kids, Monroe and Moroccan, together. She captioned it, "Hanging with my two best friend, listening to their guest appearance on #TheStar."

In the picture, Mariah was seen sitting together with the twins on a sofa. The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hitmaker looked stunning in pink pajamas as she hugged Moroccan. The two of them smiled straight at the camera while Monroe looked engrossed in a tablet.

Monroe and Moroccan's voices can be heard after the 47-year-old singer sings the chorus. They join in to sing the hook, "Follow your heart, it's Christmas."

The new Christmas song has already garnered celebrity fans. Famous blogger Perez Hilton uploaded a reaction video of the song on YouTube. "No wonder it's amazing. Mariah still got the magic touch when it comes to Christmas songs," the "Most Likely to Die" star commented. "Mariah is bringing it. The Christmas season has officially begun."

"The Star" will be included in the upcoming soundtrack of the movie of the same title. The album is set to be released on October 27. Other artists also lent their voice for the soundtrack, including Fifth Harmony with "Can You See", A Great Big World with "Life Is Good" and Zara Larsson with "Mary, Did You Know?"

The movie itself follows the story of a small donkey named Bo and his animal friends going on a journey to become the unsung heroes of first Christmas. Mariah is confirmed to voice one of the characters, Rebecca the Hen, alongside Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Clarkson, Zachary Levi and Tyler Perry.
