AceShowbiz - "La La Land" dominates the nominations of the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards. The musical receives seven nods including Best Musical or Comedy, Best Actress for Emma Stone, Best Actor for Ryan Gosling, and Best Director as well as Screenplay both for Damien Chazelle.
In the Musical or Comedy, "La La Land" is competing against "Deadpool", "20th Century Women", "Florence Foster Jenkins" and "Sing Street". Meanwhile, "Manchester by the Sea" is vying for Best Drama along with "Hacksaw Ridge", "Hell or High Water", "Lion" and "Moonlight".
Justin Timberlake and Lin-Manuel Miranda get a nomination each, thanks to the songs "Can't Stop the Feeling" and "How Far I'll Go" that they wrote for "Trolls" and "Moana" respectively. They are competing for Best Original Song.
