AceShowbiz - Britney Spears, U2, Drake and Ariana Grande are among big names scheduled to headline the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the sixth annual music festival will be held on September 23-24 at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.
In addition to the four big timers listed above, the two-day festival will include performances from Pitbull, Usher, Sia, Sting, Sam Hunt, Twenty One Pilots, Florida Georgia Line, Cage the Elephant, Billy Idol, OneRepublic, Zedd and Tears for Fears.
The Daytime Village will take place once again at the Las Vegas Village across from the Luxor Hotel and Casino on September 24 with performances by Panic At the Disco, Alessia Cara, Troye Sivan, Hailee Steinfeld, Good Charlotte, Lissie, Daya, Bryson Tiller and DNCE. Besides live music, the Village will feature interactive experiences for festival goers.
Fans will be able to livestream the festival through The CW Network on its official site CWTV.com as well as the CW smartphone app. The network will broadcast the festival on October 6-7 at 8:00 P.M. ET.
iHeartMedia announces they will be partnering with the Global Citizen Festival in New York to "harness the power of music to fight inequality, protect our planet and end extreme poverty by 2030." The Global Citizen Festival, which takes place on the same weekend as the iHeartRadio Music Festival, will also be streamed by iHeartMedia.
