Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to share a short video of him arriving for his first day of filming "Thor: Ragnarok". He also gave his five million followers a quick look around the filming set. The 32-year-old actor also jokingly showed a roller coaster he got as one of the perks of being Thor.
Hemsworth likely came to the lot right after his training session as he is seen holding a protein shake. "Here we are, beginning of shooting for 'Thor 3' at the studios," the Thor depicter says. "Got my shake, got my shoes, and as requested, got my roller coaster. it's just some of the perks that come with being Thor. See you later!" he adds with a grin.
He also wrote in the caption, "Thor 3 has begun," adding the hashtags #wheresmyhammer #thor3 #rollercoastersrock.
"Thor: Ragnarok" also stars Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins, who reprise their respective roles from "Thor: The Dark World". Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo are also joining the cast.
Taika Waititi directs the film from a screenplay by Stephany Folsom. It's based on characters created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby. Kevin Feige is serving as producer. "Thor: Ragnarok" hits U.S. theaters on November 3, 2017.
