Just hours after Tyga heard that music legend Paul McCartney was denied entry into his Grammy after-party, Kylie Jenner's on-/off-beau took to Twitter to set the record straight. The 26-year-old rapper said that he had no idea that The Beatles member was at the venue and knew nothing about the decision to turn McCartney away.

"Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He's a legend," Tyga tweeted. The rapper later claimed that he left after his performance without knowing exactly who attended his party which was held at Argyle nightclub in Hollywood. "I don't control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left," he added.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight claimed that McCartney wasn't denied entry, he just tried to get in through a wrong door. The 73-year-old singer, who came with fellow musicians Beck and Foo Fighters' drummer Taylor Hawkins, tried to enter the venue through a side door, but the security couldn't allow him because it was an exit door.

McCartney then asked, "Is this the Mark Ronson party?" He left after the security told him that it wasn't. Before leaving, he joked, "How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit."

McCartney was later spotted at the Republic Records Grammy after-party at Hyde Sunset Kitchen+ Cocktails in Los Angeles. He joined other famous stars like Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Lorde. McCartney's wife, Nancy Shevell, also attended the party.

"Paul McCartney literally danced the night away with his wife, Nancy. So adorable," a source told the site. "And he was surrounded by Beck, Woody Harrelson and Taylor Hawkins. The song that got him up dancing was 'FourFiveSeconds'."
