Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and other celebrities channel "history's legends" in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine. Katy looks chic as Elizabeth Taylor while Mariah looks sweet as she poses as Marie Antoinette.
The "Roar" singer poses as the icon which "transcends time" while holding a shredded Andy Warhol artwork of her likeness over her face. Meanwhile, Mariah looks cute as she is swaying at a swing under a tree-like image. The 45-year-old singer wears a beautiful pink gown and colorful floral hair accessories. She appears to have one of her shoes thrown as she is swaying.

She credits stylist Carine Roitfeld and photographer Jean Paul Goude in a caption for picture, "So excited to share my shoot as Marie Antoinette from @harpersbazaarus, styled by @carineroitfeld and shot by @jeanpaulgoude."
Oprah Winfrey, who is also a model for the September issue of the magazine, posts a snap of herself for the publication. The media proprietor is transformed into Glinda, the good witch from "The Wizard of Oz". A caption for the picture reads, "This was a photo shoot like no other. BAZAAR version of my she-ro Glinda."
Other celebrities who are transformed into "history's legends" include Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Diana Vreeland, Jessica Chastain as Joan of Arc, Willow Smith as goddess Kali, Chris Lee as Coco Chanel, Dakota Johnson as Aphrodite and Lucky Blue as Liberace.
