Oscars 2015: 'Ida' Wins Best Foreign Language Film

In addition to the Best Foreign Language trophy, the award show has revealed winners in Best Live Action Short Film and Best Documentary Short Subject categories.

AceShowbiz - More winners at the 2015 Academy Awards are announced. At a ceremony which is currently taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, black-and-white movie "Ida" from Poland was announced as the winner in Best Foreign Language Film category just one day after winning the Indie Spirit Award. It bested other contenders such as "Leviathan", "Tangerines", "Timbuktu" and "Wild Tales" and took the first Foreign Language trophy for Poland. Director Pawel Pawlikowski received the award onstage on behalf of the team.

Next on the show, Tegan and Sara as well as The Lonely Island took the stage to bring an energetic performance of "Everything Is Awesome" from "The Lego Movie" soundtrack. Some Lego Oscar were handed to audience including Oprah Winfrey who looked so excited to receive one.

The ceremony continued with the announcement of Best Live Action Short Film winner. "The Phone Call" from Mat Kirkby and James Lucas was awarded with the trophy, while the next award in Best Documentary Short Subject went to "Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1" from Ellen Goosenberg Kent and Dana Perry. Speaking onstage, Perry dedicated the award to her son who committed suicide. "We should talk about suicide out loud," the filmmaker said.

Another musical performance took place following the announcements. Tim McGraw took the stage to perform Glen Campbell's "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me".

More winners at the 87th Academy Awards will be announced. Hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, the event airs live on ABC.
