Liam Payne is recovering from an injury. A photo of the One Direction member sporting an arm cast has been making rounds on social media since early Monday, September 15 and makes fans worry. In the photo, the boybander can be seen posing shirtless with some friends at a rooftop pool while sporting a cast.
A representative for the group has released a statement to address Payne's injury and assures fans that their beloved star will get better soon. "[He] hurt his hand while training. He will be fine," the rep told Gossip Cop.
In other news, the group is now gearing up for the release of their new album. Simply titled "FOUR", the new set by Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson is scheduled to hit stores on November 17 via Syco/Colombia Records. While making the announcement on September 8, the band also unleashed a new track called "Fireproof" for fans.
The British/Irish group additionally shared another exciting announcement over the weekend, saying that the lead single from their upcoming new album would be called "Steal My Girl". Written by Tomlinson, Payne with Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, the track will premiere on radios across the world on Monday, September 29.
