Miranda Lambert showed off her slimmer body in a plunging blue dress as she attended 47th annual Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday, November 6. Speaking on the red carpet of the event, the "All Kinds of Kinds" singer revealed secrets of her thinner frame.

"I have been working a lot! Working out and drinking juice and just running, running around," she said, as quoted by E! News. "You know what, I fluctuate all the time in my weight - it's really annoying - but I'm going to be 30 in like four days, so I'm like, 'I need to get ahead of this thing!' Because they say when you hit 30 it doesn't get easier."

"So I thought, 'Well, you know, if I get a little healthier before I turn 30, maybe I can get ahead of the game,' " the singer, who bagged an award at the annual event, added. In addition to tips of weight loss, the 29-year-old singer talked about her Roberto Cavalli gown. "I thought it was a great color and it fit great, so here I am," Lambert said, adding that she chose the dress after discussing with her family.

Lambert and her husband Blake Shelton paired the Female and Male Vocalists of the Year awards at the Wednesday event. Lambert won the trophy after beating other vocalists such as Kelly Clarkson, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. Shelton, meanwhile, competed against Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Keith Urban for his Male Vocalist of the Year trophy.
