AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert has officially signed with MCA Records for her future music releases, the label confirmed on April 20.
Mike Harris, President & CEO of MCA, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "Miranda is a generational artist whose influence and artistry continue to shape modern music." Miranda Lambert shared her thoughts on the new alliance, emphasizing the importance of the right team in her career. She said, "Throughout my life and career, I have found that the common thread in every chapter is finding the right people—songwriters, musicians, collaborators, and team members—to match the moment." She expressed pride in joining MCA’s roster, praising the label's strong history of supporting artistry, and looks forward to releasing new music under their banner.
In addition to her new deal with MCA, Miranda Lambert continues her role as founder of Big Loud Texas, remaining actively involved in the label’s business partnerships and artist development initiatives within both the label and its publishing division.
Before signing with MCA, Miranda Lambert worked with Republic Records in partnership with Big Loud for one album. Prior to that, she was signed with Sony Music Nashville since the start of her career. Under the Big Loud/Republic arrangement, she released the album Postcards From Texas, which debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. This album also received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Country Album.
Miranda Lambert boasts an impressive track record, with seven albums reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and seven No. 1 hits on the Country Airplay chart. She holds the distinction of being the most-awarded artist in the history of the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Beyond her recording career, she has headlined multiple tours and brought her Velvet Rodeo residency to Las Vegas, showcasing her continued appeal and versatility on stage.
Miranda Lambert has also earned recognition for her work behind the scenes as a producer and songwriter. Notably, she produced and co-wrote on Ella Langley’s six-week No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Choosin’ Texas”. Additionally, she serves as an executive producer on Langley’s Dandelion album, which currently holds the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart.
