Billboard is going to celebrate Beyonce's career achievements and influence in the music industry at a live ceremony on May 22.

Beyonce Knowles will receive Millennium Award at Billboard Music Awards on May 22. One of the most celebrated female singers, the former member of Destiny's Child is chosen as a special honoree due to her career achievements and influence in the music industry.
The award will be presented at a live ceremony which will be hosted by "The Hangover" actor Ken Jeong. Performing that night will be Cee-Lo Green, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taio Cruz, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.
Nominees for this upcoming awards have been announced last April. Nicki Minaj gets two nods; Top New Artist and Top Rap Artist. Leading the whole pack, meanwhile, is Rihanna with 18 nominations including Top Artist.
