AceShowbiz - Performers line-up for this year's Essence Music Festival has been unveiled. Appearing on the list are Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Estelle, LL Cool J, Raphael Saadiq, Keri Hilson, Melanie Fiona, Charlie Wilson, Trey Songz and more.
In order to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the festival, a special CD/DVD package is set to be released on June 24. The tracklisting includes musical guests from the past years, such as Beyonce Knowles, John Legend, Solange Knowles and Robin Thicke.
2010 Essence Music Festival itself will be held at the Superdome in New Orleans for three days, beginning July 2. Nephew Tommy is going to host the gig with a special appearance from Steve Harvey. More info about the festival can be found at Essence.com.
