AceShowbiz - Rubi Rose has confirmed her romantic relationship with French Montana after footage surfaced of the two going on a romantic dinner date. The 24-year-old raptress/model said she and the 38-year-old rapper "just started dating."
"It's new we chilling and getting to know each other still," Rubi allegedly said in a written message to The Shade Room. While she declined to provide exclusive images of them together, she said that she plans to share more details about their blossoming romance "if and when it gets there."
Rubi, however, neither confirmed nor denied the dating rumors when she appeared to address the news on Twitter. "Dang... i can't go out to eat now," she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, March 14.
Her confirmation and cryptic news arrive after Rubi and French were caught having a dinner date at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills on Monday night. In footage obtained by TMZ, the Moroccan-born star got out of the red car first, followed by another man dressed in all black, presumed to be security.
As French walked toward the restaurant, Rubi emerged from the vehicle. She increased her walking pace to catch up to French. When they eventually walked together on the same pace, French put his arm around the "Big Mouth" femcee. She appeared to be annoyed by the paparazzi as she said, "What the f**k."
Citing a source allegedly close to the couple, the site reported that Rubi is 100 percent French's "new GF." While it's unclear when they started hanging out, the source claimed they're past that initial "getting to know you" phase.
After their dating rumors spread, Internet folks have weighed in, with some people showing disapproval. "Out of everyone she could've gone to, she went with French," one person said. Another tweeted, "Lol, even a Kardashian (Khloe) dodged this bullet. Rubi Rose is daring!"
Some others trolled French for his "cringey" gesture during the date night. "N***a be tryna act too cool when they out wit a new girl lmao hold her hand my n***a," a person commented. Another enthused, "Looks like a dad walking with his daughter. Cringey asf."
