Formed by JYP Entertainment, GOT7 is a South Korean boyband consisting of seven members, Jackson, Jinyoung, Mark, Youngjae, BamBam, Yugyeom and leader JB. Prior to debuting in 2014, Jinyoung and JB made their debut as actors when they starred on "Dream High 2". They later debuted as a pop duo JJ Project and released a single titled "Bounce".

The group debuted on January 20, 2014 with "Girls Girls Girls" off their first EP tilted "Got It?". Shortly after their debut, the group signed a contract with Japan's Sony Music Entertainment and launched a showcase in Japan in front of 9,000 fans.

It didn't take too long for GOT7 to release their second EP, "Got Love", which was released on June 23. They also held their first Japan Tour and made their Japanese debut on October 22 with track "Around the World".

2014 was a busy year for the group even though they just made their debut. They released their first full-length album, "Identify", in November 2014 along with the music video for track "Stop Stop It". The group gained attention from people around the world after "Stop Stop It" peaked at No. 4 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.

Their hard work was paid off though, as they won New Artist Award at the 2015 Golden Disc Awards and at the 24th Seoul Music Awards. After starring on web drama "Dream Knight", the group unveiled their second Japanese single "Love Train". Soon after, they released their third EP "Just Right" on July 13, 2015. The title track peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.

GOT7 didn't show any sign of slowing down again that year, as their fourth EP "MAD" and music video for "If You Do" made its way out on September 29. They quickly followed it up with a repackaged version of the album titled "MAD Winter Edition".

Welcoming 2016, GOT7 released their fifth EP "Flight Log: Departure" with lead track "Fly" on March 21. Thanks to the success of the album, the seven-piece boy group became the second Korean musicians to chart on Billboard's Artist 100 following Psy. The album itself debuted and peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Heartseekers Album chart and World Album chart.

One month after releasing the album, the group held their first solo world tour called "Fly Tour", traveling through several countries such as China, Japan, Thailand and the U.S. The second installment of their "Flight Log" trilogy, "Flight Log: Turbulence", was released on September 27. The album debuted atop Billboard's World Albums chart after selling 2,000 copies.

The third installment of the "Flight Log" trilogy, "Flight Log: Arrival", was released one year at the release of the second installment. The effort topped several charts including Gaon and Hanteo's album charts and Billboard's World Album chart.

GOT7 released their seventh EP "7 for 7" with lead track "You Are" in October. The holiday version of the album was released on December 7 alongside a performance video for their b-side "Teenager", which was composed by JB.

Continuing their success, the group released their eighth EP "Eyes on You" on March 12, 2018. On the heels of the album release, they also debuted a music video for "Look" off the new effort. The album itself debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Heartseekers Album charts, while "Look" debuted at No. 21 on YouTube chart. It marked the group's first appearance on the chart.
