AceShowbiz - Wanna One's Ong Seong Wu and Ha Sung Woon are heading to the jungle. The two members of one of the most popular boy groups in South Korea have been confirmed to join the next edition of "Laws of the Jungle" in Sabah.
Along with the two idols, actress Lee Da Hee is also announced to appear on the SBS reality show. On Thursday, April 19, a source at SBS told news outlet DongA.com, "It's true that Wanna One's Ong Seong Woo and Ha Sung Woon, along with actress Lee Da Hee, will be appearing on 'Law of the Jungle in Sabah'."
The three will be joining previously announced cast members, including actor Yoon Si Yoon and members of veteran boy group Shinhwa, Eric, Minwoo and Andy Lee (II). Comedian Kim Byung Man, who created the show, is expected to return for the new season. This will mark Lee Da Hee's second time appearing on the show, after joining the cast in the Cook Islands season in January.
"Law of the Jungle in Sabah" will begin filming this May and is expected to air sometime in July of this year. Sabah is a region on Borneo Island of Malaysia. Previous reports falsely said the upcoming season would be filmed in Saba, Netherlands.
Ong Seong Wu and Ha Sung Woon had reportedly expressed interest in appearing on "Law of the Jungle" since last year, but were unable to join the program until now due to scheduling conflicts. Ever since appearing in "Produce 101" season 2 and debuting as part of Wanna One, they have been kept busy with promotional activities. The group released their second extended play "0+1=1 (I Promise You)" on March 19.
Other K-Pop idols who have previously joined the show include Kwanghee, Kim Dong Jun and Park Hyung Sik of ZE:A, Jeong Jinwoon and Lee Chang Min of 2AM, Mir of MBLAQ, Sungyeol and Dongwoo of Infinite, SHINee's Onew, Chanyeol (EXO), Hani (EXID), Jackson (GOT7), N (VIXX), Minah (Girl's Day) and many others.
