Bryan and David are in the thick of planning details for their wedding, and they can't seem to agree on any details. They wedding planner recommends that they compromise - sometimes you just have to let the little things go. David agrees to compromise on the cake, while Bryan lets him have his cinnamon-scented candles. But David has one more compromise of a bigger nature - and asks Bryan to invite his mother to the wedding. Bryan begrudgingly agrees, just as long as there's not pretzel bread at the wedding.

Since they have such a hard time with these little decisions, the guys worry that they'll never be able to agree on a name for their baby. Bryan's all for Thomas, while David wants to name the baby Julius after his grandfather. When Goldie reveals that Shania's name came from the Shania Twain song that was playing in the drugstore bathroom where she was conceived, she's understandably horrified. How could her name be such a farce? After all, a name determines your destiny. Shania decides she wants to go by Sarah instead. Later, Goldie tells Clay that she's considering changing her last name back to her maiden name, Forrest. This cuts Clay deep, as he was hoping they could all be a family again.

Slide #3 Meanwhile, David and Bryan have dinner with Bryan's mom. Bryan's determined to put up a united front, as his mother likes to point out all the ways in which the two are constantly disagreeing. But when the issue of baby names comes up, there's no hiding their discord. Things get worse while they're working out wedding details the next day, and Bryan believes that his mother insists on turning the guys against each other.

Bryan proposes a new plan - how about they leave their wedding decisions to chance! By putting their respective choices for details of the wedding on slips of paper and pulling at random, Bryan can show his mom just how at ease and agreeable he is. But Bryan's plan goes south when every single slip of paper ends up being David's choice. His anger finally boils over when they use the paper-drawing game to decide a name for the baby, and Julius wins out.

Later, Bryan confronts his mom about his frustrations with her meddling ways. He insists that growing up, his mother was extremely intolerant and treated him visibly different from his siblings. Bryan's mother confesses that she understands why he feels hurt, but she can't fix the past. Bryan's going to be a father now, and it's time for him to grow up. Concerning the name of his baby, she insists that there will be a moment when Bryan and David just know - but they have to be patient.

Bryan approaches David and apologizes for his outburst, and he promises to compromise on the little things. He also thanks David for pushing him to invite his mother - that's one compromise he can get behind. Looking at the ultrasound of their baby, labeled "Sawyer Collins" for their last names, the two have an epiphany. Sawyer Collins should be the name of their baby! It's perfect!

Shania decides to go back from "Sarah" to "Shania." Sometimes being unique is exhausting, but it's who she is. Later, Clay makes a heartfelt confession to Goldie. He doesn't care what her last name is, but he loves her and he wants them to be a family again. Clay gets down on one knee and proposes! The question is, will Goldie say yes?
