FOILED BANK HEIST POINTS TO KIDNAPPED GIRL AND CLAIMS OF POLICE BRUTALITY -- When an armed robber is shot dead during a botched heist involving an unlikely bank manager, Detectives Fontana (Dennis Farina) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) soon discover the executive was forced to assist in the robbery by the men who kidnapped his daughter. Fearing for the girl's safety, the detectives begin an aggressive search resulting in Fontana having to use heavy-handed means to extract the child's location. The questionable tactics then leave A.D.A Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) to face a deceptively canny defense attorney (guest star Peter Jacobson) who will fully exploit the issue of excessive force.
