Synopsis

Season four begins with Annie swiftly ascending an elevator, racing upwards towards a mysterious - and no doubt dangerous - meeting. She makes an emotional call to Auggie, and, ignoring his pleas to come home, pulls out a gun. Then the elevator doors open, and all hell breaks loose...

Flashback six months. That firefight is still in the distance, and Annie and Auggie are just where we left them at the close of last season: in bed. Soon afterwards, Annie fills Auggie in on her meeting with Henry Wilcox, and the mysterious file he showed her. Inside was evidence that Arthur, possibly with help from Auggie, has been secretly funding a Columbian terror group.

Though Auggie is resistant to get entangled in Henry's latest plot, Annie decides to travel to Columbia to see for herself what's going on. Not long after she arrives in Medellin and makes contact with a manager at the bank handling Arthur's money transfers, Auggie arrives to lend support. Calder Michaels, the ambitious local CIA station chief, isn't pleased that they're operating off-book on his turf. But Annie and Auggie have bigger issues to deal with: after Annie secretly meets with the terrorist Arthur has been funding, Auggie reveals the shocking truth about the man's true connection to Arthur.

Meanwhile, back at Langley, Joan and Arthur have figured out that Annie and Auggie are romantically involved. But that's not the biggest shock they're in for-it's not even number two on the list. As it turns out, Joan is pregnant. Unfortunately, she and Arthur won't be able to celebrate the good news, as Henry's machinations have forced Arthur to set in motion a plan that could change everything...
