Rocker Ray Davies has called for the masterminds behind the 9/11 terror attacks to face a firing squad made up of members of the victims' families. The Kinks frontman wants the suspects being held at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba to face the death penalty if they are found guilty of involvement in the September 11 atrocities.

And he wants soldiers and the families of those killed in the tragedy to act as executioner. Davies tells Uncut magazine, "I think there should be a firing squad. They should give six people bullets. Well, two of them have got bullets and the others are all blanks."

"They'll get - whoever the executioner is - a soldier, a relative of someone who was killed in 9/11, and a frequent flyer."

You 9/11 conspiracy people need to give it a rest. You are like a cult. You just google 9/11 everyday and try to brainwash people, its pathetic. When they ask poll questions like, "Do you believe the government is hiding something about 9/11" and a lot of people say yes, you assume that means they don't believe Al Qaeda did it. In reality we all realize there are things about the Saudi involvement etc.. they are keeping secret but no, we don't believe the gov't did it. We are idiots. America wanted money so we knocked down our most prized economic buildings? As an excuse to take over the poorest and least promising nation on the planet? If people didn't actually believe this I would laugh at that idea.

Please folks, can we drop the 9/11 "truther" fantasies. The 9/11 Commission was made up primarily of Clinton supporters and friends (and even then he couldn't be exempted from blame). Read up on your history. The idea that most of the victims' families don't believe the events that occured on that day is a misnomer. Ray's views are consistent with the majority of Americans who witnessed evil that day and know who's to blame.

Kudos to Ray Davies for daring to speak the politically incorrect truth. I would arm the families and soldiers with flamethrowers instead of guns so they can feel what their victims felt on 9/11

Seems that getting shot in New Orleans a few years back has made Ray a little more Conservative. Welcome aboard!

Aw. Thanks Ray. Shame he doesn't even realise that most 9/11 victim's family members dont believe the Official Conspiracy Theory. He probably doesn't even realise that if it wasn't for the victim's families namely - The Family Steering Committee - there wouldn't even have been a 9/11 Commission. Just goes to show how most people, even a counter-culture rocker like Ray, know diddly-squat about 9/11. Ray seems to be as removed from what's going on as he is from his once ample song writing ability. He has got an album out though. Ah, so that's it!
