British actress Amanda Donohoe has vowed never to undergo cosmetic surgery, because she finds it "weird" when movie stars cover up the aging process. The "Castaway" star is adamant Botox injections and facelifts are "perpetuating a lie" by hiding wrinkles, and she's determined to keep it real by shunning anti-ageing treatments.
She tells Britain's The People, "I saw a picture of Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch together and the frightening thing was their faces looked the same as they did 20 years ago. I find that truly awful. It's not only weird, it's kind of perpetuating a lie, saying that aging doesn't happen when it quite clearly does. We should all just get over it and grow old graciously."
Amanda Donohoe is one of the cast in TV series "Emmerdale" as a businesswoman named Natasha Wylde.
