Event founder Michael Eavis is approaching Stevie Wonder to join U2 and Muse and headline final night of the festival that will take place in Somerset.

Soul legend Stevie Wonder is in negotiations to join U2 and Muse as headliners at England's Glastonbury Festival this summer. Event founder Michael Eavis unveiled British rockers Muse as the second big act on the bill on Tuesday, February 2, and revealed it was "probable" the "Superstition" icon would close the traditionally rock 'n' roll festival.

The news comes just weeks after Eavis' daughter Emily was forced to dismiss rumors Green Day were set to perform at the annual gig, while similar speculation surrounding The Rolling Stones was also denied. Glastonbury will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, England on June 23 - 27.

Other stars that will perform are Hot Chip, Vampire Weekend and Dizzee Rascal. Previous headliners at the gig included Bruce Springsteen, Blur, and Neil Young.
