Actor and comedian Ricky Harris has passed away. The "Everybody Hates Chris" star died on Monday, December 26 of a heart attack, his manager Cindy Ambers broke the sad news. He was 54 years old.
Celebrity and fans alike paid tribute to the late funnyman. "I lost one of my dear friends today, Ricky Harris. A lot of you all may know him as the comedian, but he was a real dear friend of mine. Rest in peace ... My big brother, my homeboy, on his way to heaven now," Snoop Dogg said in an Instagram video.
Ice Cube tweeted, "Damn, we lost Ricky Harris. The world is a little less funny today. RIP homie." Cedric the Entertainer wrote on his own Twitter, "Devastated!!! #RIP to the One and Only #RickyHarris Always been a super solid dude."
Gabrielle Union was among the mourners as well, "2016 is savage! RIP to a real one." Estelle tweeted, "RIP Ricky Harris."
