A new promo for the upcoming season of the ABC reality series also teases a possible engagement, as Nick is seen ready to propose with a ring.

AceShowbiz - It may take not just one, or two, or three, but four attempts for Nick Viall to find love on TV, but he may have finally found his true love. Two weeks shy of "The Bachelor" season 21 premiere, Nick previews his latest stint on the ABC reality dating series.

"I can't give too much detail away, other than the fact that I didn't know that someone from my past would show up," he tells ETOnline, hinting at the unexpected arrival of a certain woman. "Certainly when that happens, I think anyone would be shocked. As far as how it all plays out, or what I thought about it, I think that will be a very compelling part of the first episode."

Nick teases a happy ending for him on the show as he says, "I can say I definitely found love. I really won't be able to get into much more detail about that other that. But... I certainly have no regrets."

Admitting that he's learnt from his past experiences, Nick says he approaches "situations differently than most, maybe even of my peers in the past." He explains, "In Andi [Dorfman]'s season, there was a lot of people who had their concerns about me... One of those people was Chris Soules, who is one of my closest friends now." He, on the other hand, doesn't plan to put much weight on drama between girls not being there "for the right reasons."

Still, he appears to be questioning a girl's motivation in a new promo for the show's new season. "It seems a little bit weird that she's here," he says in the video debuted via PEOPLE. He's also seen crying, flipping a table and getting slapped by a woman.

Another girl is sobbing, saying that she's "fed up." In another scene, Nick is entering a room and saying, "I don't think this is a good idea." In the end, Nick is ready to propose to a girl. "I hope she says, 'yes,' " he says in the promo.

Nick has additionally addressed report that he dumped "Bachelor in Paradise" season 3 co-star Jen Saviano in order to be the new Bachelor. Fellow "Paradise" alum Lauren Himle previously claimed that Nick was still dating Jen, a week before he's announced as the star of "The Bachelor" season 21. "No, none of that was remotely true," he told reporters about the claim.

The new edition of "The Bachelor" premieres January 2 at 8 P.M. on ABC.
