'Bachelor in Paradise' Finale Part 1 Recap: Ashley Is Dumped Again, Only 4 Couples Remain
TV

Tiara Soleim from Ben Higgins' season arrives, but makes no big effort to flirt with any guys since most of them have been so coupled up.

AceShowbiz - Things are pretty solid between most couples on "Bachelor in Paradise" as it enters its last week. In part one of the finale which aired on Monday, September 5, Tiara Soleim from Ben Higgins' "The Bachelor" season arrived, but since almost everyone was already in a relationship, she decided to give her date card to Nick and Jen.

Nick and Jen went to a carnival in town, where they played games and went to a tarot card reader. The two admitted that they were falling for each other, but Nick noted that the more serious they became, the more nervous he got.

Meanwhile, Brett realized that he's more compatible with Lauren than with Izzy, so he had a talk with Izzy to make things clear. Izzy broke down in tears and regretted letting Vinny go. She decided to leave paradise and called Vinny on her way leaving the mansion, admitting, "I made a huge, huge mistake." But Vinny said that after she fell for "some guy with a lamp... all my feelings went out the window," adding, "There's no coming back from what happened. Bye."

Before the rose ceremony, Ashley, Jami and Shushanna were vying for Wells' rose. But as Shushanna said, "I don't fight for guys. I don't fight for love," she decided to leave on her own. At the rose ceremony, Josh chose Amanda, Nick gave his rose to Jen, Grant picked Lace, and Evan handed his to Carly.

Though Brett had a good time with Lauren, looking at the "solid couples" around him, he felt that his relationship with Lauren wasn't that deep enough to hand her his rose, so he chose to leave paradise. Wells, meanwhile, picked Ashley. That meant Lauren, Jami and Tiara were sent packing.

Chris Harrison told the remaining five couples to spend an hour thinking whether they're ready to take their relationships into the real world. If they could, they would be going into the "Fantasy Suite". The pressure was on Wells since Ashley was still a virgin. He felt that they were not ready for the next step, so he decided to go home, leaving Ashley in tears again. Ashley also decided to leave.

Before the overnight dates, the remaining four couples went on final day dates to solidify their relationships. Grant and Lace got matching "Grace" bracelets and got tattooed with the word "Grace", which is a combination of their names. Nick and Jen went paddle boarding. Carly and Evan had a body painting date, while Josh played soccer with kids to show Amanda, a mother of two, that he loves kids.

After the dates, they headed into the fantasy suites. Carly and Evan, Grant and Lace, and Josh and Amanda each said they were in love with one another. Nick and Jen admitted they were scared of having a long distant relationship, but they were both really into each other.
