'[Luke's] representatives are in regular contact with executives at the highest levels at Sony, and this has never come up,' Luke's lawyer denies claim that the company will dump the producer.

AceShowbiz - Dr. Luke is not leaving Sony Music. Following a report that the label would cut ties with him amid his nasty legal battle with Kesha (formerly Ke$ha), his lawyer said that the producer had an "excellent relationship" with the company and they had never discussed plan to drop him.

"His representatives are in regular contact with executives at the highest levels at Sony, and this has never come up," the lawyer told TMZ. Meanwhile, Sony chose to give "no comment" when the news outlet contacted them.

Kesha's fans as well as fellow celebrities who support her have been asking Sony to release the singer from her contract with Luke's Kemosabe Records, which is owned by Sony, after a New York judge refused to do so last month.

Recently, TheWrap reported that Sony had finally decided to dump Luke although his contract wouldn't expire until next year. "There is no contest. Kesha has no case in regards to her contract but they can't afford the Adeles of the world out in the streets calling the label unsupportive," a source told the publication. "The fact that this hasn't already been taken care of with Luke is confusing, especially for people in the building."
