The 'Bad Boy for Life' rapper was arrested on Monday, June 22 after allegedly going after his son's football coach with a kettlebell.

AceShowbiz - P. Diddy was arrested on Monday, June 22 after allegedly going after a football coach in UCLA, where his son Justin Combs is on the team, with a kettlebell. He was charged with a felony assault with a deadly weapon.

UCLA confirmed the arrest in a statement, "Shortly after 12:30 P.M. today, Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy) was arrested at UCLA's Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening."

Head coach Jim Mora said in a statement released by UCPD, "I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."

TMZ reported that Diddy got into an altercation with Strength and Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi and that the incident was captured in a video. Sources connected with Diddy told the site that the 45-year-old rapper was adamant that he acted in self-defense and was not the aggressor.

The drama reportedly began during a workout session on Sunday because Sal was "riding Justin badly" and told him not to come back until the end of the summer. Diddy allegedly went into Sal's office where the coach allegedly threatened him to call police if he didn't leave. After the rapper told the coach that he would call the police, the coach was going after him with his hands.

Diddy claimed he then grabbed a kettlebell and held it up in a defensive position but he didn't intentionally attack the coach.
