'Sleepy Hollow' Finds Ichabod's Father in 'Alias' Alum Victor Garber

The Jack Bristow of the J.J. Abrams-created series will guest star in at least one episode of the FOX supernatural drama series.

Victor Garber returns to television with another father role. The on-screen father of Jennifer Garner's on "Alias" is cast as Ichabod Crane's dad on FOX's new hit series "Sleepy Hollow", TVLine reports.

It's unclear how Ichabod's dad will be brought into the storyline, but Ichabod once mentioned his father when recalling their time together in a November 25 episode. Garber reportedly has signed up to appear in at least one episode of the supernatural drama series.

Garber recently took one of the lead roles as Robert Bowers on NBC's short-lived soap opera "Deception". He will next guest star as a judge on "The Good Wife" later this season.

"Sleepy Hollow" airs Mondays at 9/8c on FOX. Before viewers get to know more of Ichabod's father, the resurrected spy will first try to find out what happened to his son. In "The Golem" to air December 9, Ichabod enlists Henry Parrish (guest star John Noble) to help him communicate with Katrina, but in the process, a menacing danger is unleashed from purgatory.
