The actor will have a recurring role on the ABC drama fantasy but his character is not yet revealed.

AceShowbiz - Former "Brotherhood" actor Ethan Embry has been added to the second season of "Once Upon a Time". The ABC drama has cast Embry in a recurring role which details are still kept a secret. Entertainment Weekly reported that he will be a visitor to Storybrooke, although it is unknown whether he will be a magical creature or not.

The news of new characters has been shared by actor Raphael Sbarge, who plays Jiminy Cricket in the Enchanted Forest and therapist Archie in Storybrooke. He told The Clicker, "I feel very strongly (creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz) are so good at storytelling that they have a bigger plan in store for us. We'll all be very pleased, surprised and delighted by what occurs."

"They came at me at the beginning of the season and they said a couple of things. They said, 'Look, we are going to bring in a whole bunch of new characters.' They said, 'Don't worry.' There are episodes where some of our main characters - like Lana [Parrilla aka Regina and the Evil Queen] - have been in [the show] very little or at all."

Regarding the addition of new faces, Sbarge divulged, "It creates the microcosm because when we do all come back - and I promise, we do - it sort of creates that much more excitement, thrill and familiarity."

"Once Upon a Time" returns Sunday, October 28 with the episode "The Doctor". Regina begins to see a ghost in Storybrooke, Snow White/Mary Margaret and Emma meet a survivor of an ogre attack that Emma has her suspicions about. Meanwhile, Regina finds it difficult learning the evil ways from a dark lord.
