Lifetime has released the first official picture from "Liz & Dick", which just kicked off its principal photography Monday, June 4. It shows Lindsay Lohan channeling her inner Elizabeth Taylor as she gets kissed in the neck by Grant Bowler, who portrays Richard Burton.
The photo, which was shot last Tuesday, is released in black and white to depict a "classic" look, so a Lifetime source tells E! Online. In addition to the said photo, TMZ has got its hand on a colorful image which features Lohan dressing in a glamorous gown while holding a cigarette.
As for scoops from the production in Los Angeles, producer Larry Thompson reveals that the first scenes filmed were of Liz and Dick on a yacht, which was docked at Marina del Rey. "A little first-day jitters for everyone, but it went well," he further shares.
"Liz & Dick" chronicles the enduring love of movie icons Taylor and Burton, whose fiery romance was the most notorious, publicized and celebrated love affair of its day. Lloyd Kramer is tapped to serve behind the lens.
