After grabbing Entertainer of the Year for the second consecutive year, the 'Sparks Fly' singer heads out to a Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas' Bellagio hotel with family and friends.
Having won the Entertainer of the Year title for the second consecutive year at the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards, Taylor Swift has all the reasons to throw a big party on Sunday, April 1 night. Instead, the "Back to December" singer chose to celebrate the honor with a low-key dinner with family and friends.
According to E! Online, the 22-year-old enjoyed a leisurely dinner and a champagne toast with a group of 12 at Yellowtail Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas' Bellagio hotel. Wearing a black skirt and flats for the outing, she arrived at the restaurant after 9 P.M. and headed to private outside veranda. After the meal, she was presented with a custom pair of chopsticks with her name on them by the eatery.
Swift herself has spilled the beans on how she planned to celebrate her victory when met by Entertainment Tonight after winning Entertainer of the Year. "I'm so hungry. I really want to go eat a lot of food," the songstress, who voiced Audrey in "The Lorax" said. She added, "I'm really not picky right now. Just food. Like, a lot of it."
Nailing Entertainer of the Year wasn't the only memorable moments Swift had over the weekend. The "Sparks Fly" singer met Michelle Obama for the first time when the First Lady presented her with the Big Help award at Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 31.
"To be awarded an award from the First Lady was one of the most exciting things, I was so honored and I've always been such a huge fan of hers," Swift told Access Hollywood. "I've been really terrified to meet her because I'm such a fan. I never went to the White House. I never like got a chance to meet her and so to get to meet her on a night like tonight, where she's giving me an award for something; it was just over-the-top amazing."
