Robin Thicke has just stumbled into trouble with the law. The "Sex Therapy" singer was arrested for marijuana possession in New York City on Friday, February 17 afternoon, but has since been released on a citation. A spokesperson for the New York Police Department claimed he was busted at 12:25 P.M. ET near 3rd Avenue and East 24th Street.
According to reports, the husband of actress Paula Patton was spotted by patrol officers smoking a joint in the backseat of his chauffeured Cadillac Escalade. A source, meanwhile, told Access Hollywood that he was pulled over for throwing something out of the window. When police opened a pack of cigarettes in his car, they found an unknown amount of pot.
Robin was then taken to a police station, where he was given a desk appearance ticket. It was said that the son of Canadian actor Alan Thicke was only there for about 15 minutes, and signed autographs for the staff. One source told New York Daily News, "He was taking pictures with the cops. They were coming over to him and getting autographs."
