The 'One That Got Away' singer rocks a black short hair and channels her inner soldier by wearing a camouflage uniform.

AceShowbiz - Now that she has finished her tour, Katy Perry is focusing the promotional effort for her upcoming album on the small screen appearances. The 27-year-old pop singer recently shot a music video to support her newest single "Part of Me" on a military base.

Some on-set pictures from the video shoot have landed online, helping fans to get a clue about what the clip is about. She's seen wearing a military uniform and what seems to be a cropped black wig. There's also a photo of her in the swimming pool with a guy.

"Part of Me" is taken from "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection", a repackage of her 2010 summer album "Teenage Dream". The single was showcased live at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards and sparked speculation that it's an ode to her doomed relationship with Russell Brand.

"Holy power of the Grammy's, Part Of Me is already top 10 on itunes! U guys are killing it! NICE! Can't wait to shoot this video! #grateful," she wrote on Twitter before adding a few days later, "My proceeds of #PARTOFME from ITUNES & others will go to one of my favorite charities for the arts, MUSICARES."
