The 'Come on Over' singer puts baby rumors to rest by posting on her official site a photo of her cradling her growing baby bump while wearing a Halloween costume.
Jessica Simpson finally comes clean about what everyone already knew. On Monday, October 31 afternoon, the "Irresistible" singer and "Fashion Star" mentor confirmed through her official website that she and her former NFL player fiance, Eric Johnson (II), are indeed expecting their first child.
The 31-year-old first made the announcement on Twitter by writing "!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!!" with a link to her statement on her official site. There, she posted a photo of herself in a mummy-style Halloween costume, cradling her belly. Its headline reads, "It's true - I'm going to be a mummy!" She, however, didn't give any hint when she is due to give birth.
Jessica was previously married to Nick Lachey. The marriage ended with a divorce in 2006. After a series of failed romance with the likes of Tony Romo and The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, she began dating Eric in May 2010. She became engaged to the 32-year-old in November the same year.
