The fiance of Bristol Palin is going to play a lover who is driven away from his loved one by her meddling mother.
Art imitates life. Levi Johnston, the fiance of Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol Palin, has been tapped to star in a music video with singer-songwriter Brittani Senser, playing a lover whose romance is thwarted by his girlfriend's disapproving mother.
According to Associated Press, the music video will follow a couple as they share tender moments before they are driven apart by the young woman's mother. Unaware that her mom's interference forced her boyfriend to go, she "throws herself into her mother's arms. She tells her mother that she was wrong about Levi."
Levi Johnston announced his second engagement to Bristol Palin earlier this month and it has been widely known that Sarah Palin, although hoping the best for Bristol, doesn't seem to be happy with the news. Bristol, who has a toddler son with Levi, has said herself that her mother indeed opposes her marriage with Levi.
Although the storyline in the video is similar to what happened between him and the Palins, the 20-year-old aspiring model/actor is not worried about his soon-to-be mother in law's reaction. "I don't think we're going to be concerned about what Gov. Palin would want. I think that given the script, he (Johnston) should be able to turn in a good performance," said his attorney Rex Butler.
In fact, Levi is looking forward to shooting the clip which is scheduled in Los Angeles on August 9, one day after he attends the Teen Choice Awards with Brittani. "It will give him an opportunity to act a little bit in front of a camera. He's done a commercial before, but something like this is a little more involved," Rex added.
