The wait is over as Kourtney Kardashian has given birth to a baby boy on early Monday morning, December 14. A representative for the reality TV star confirmed to both E! News and Life and Style later that day, "Kourtney just delivered a healthy baby boy about an hour ago."

The newborn infant, delivered at an L.A. area hospital, is named Mason Dash Disick. He was 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches at time of birth. Mason is Kourtney's first child with boyfriend Scott Disick.

Kourtney Kardashian, the oldest of the three Kardashian sisters, announced she was pregnant back in August this year, revealing to the press that she learned the news as she was wrapping up filming on "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami". Later in October, she publicly confirmed that she was pregnant with a baby boy.

On Thursday, December 10, her sisters Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest in an interview for his KISS-FM radio show that Kourtney was due to give birth "any minute." At that time Kim stated, "Kourtney thought her water broke" a couple of days ago. Khloe then chimed in, "She's never experienced it; she has no idea. She was out at lunch - this is TMI - and some fluid came down her leg and she was like, 'My water broke!' She bbm'd me and I go, 'No, no, no, you will know. You're fine'."
