Rosie O'Donnell Confirms Kelli Carpenter Left Her Two Years Ago

A new revelation has been made by Rosie O'Donnell who said on her Sirius Satellite radio show on Friday, November 13 that her partner Kelli Carpenter had left their house two years ago though reports of them splitting up have just been covered by the media recently. The confirmation came less than a month after Rossie stated in an interview with USA Today that she and Kelli are facing difficult times in their relationship, but will remain "a family forever".

Rosie was talking about her long-haired chihuahua Misty with pet psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick when Sonya asked her, "Where did you get her from Rosie? Because she says she came from somewhere. And she said she's happier with you. She's so spoiled and she loves to burrow." The openly-lesbian star was quick to respond, "She does! She burrows in the bed right next to me."

And she then revealed further, "What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog." Now that Kelli is no longer in the house, Rosie said their four children Parker, Chelsea, Blake, and Vivienne fight over caring for the puppy.

Rosie O'Donnell married Kelli Carpenter, who is a former Nickelodeon marketing executive, on February 26, 2004. Late last month, Rossie had an interview with Ann Oldenburg of USA Today, during when she addressed the mounting rumors of her and Kelli separating. "Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties," she said at that time, adding they will remain "a family forever".
