Two months in advance of 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' theatrical release, the Carmike Cinema chain is offering tickets to the vampire drama's November 19 midnight showings at select theaters.

AceShowbiz - "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" will not arrive in theaters across the U.S. until late November, but tickets for this highly anticipated "Twilight" sequel are already on sale in some parts of the States. Carmike Cinemas, a Georgia-based theatre exhibitor operating in "small and midsized markets", is offering advanced ticket sales for the film's November 19 midnight performances.

Fans can purchase these early showing tickets for select theaters at Fandango. The tickets, additionally, will be offered at 63 theaters listed on the online ticketer's website, which include theaters in Fort Wayne, Ind.; Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Des Moines, Iowa. A Fandango spokesman told The Hollywood Reporter that it is too early to track how many tickets have already been sold for the event so far.

Carmike's move to offer early tickets comes following AMC Entertainment's decision to make available early tickets for director James Cameron's much awaited "Avatar" which have been offered four months before its release date. Advanced ticketing, generally, doesn't take place earlier than about six weeks before a film's opening in theaters.

Targeting a November 20 U.S. release, "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" is penned by "Twilight Saga" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and directed by "The Golden Compass" helmer Chris Weitz. It centers on the personal conflict Bella experiences following Edward Cullen's abrupt departure. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner return to reprise their roles as Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and Jacob Black.
