A representative for the actress confirms the star has been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is looking forward to get back to work on her upcoming TV show, "The Beautiful Life: TBL".

AceShowbiz - Troubled actress Mischa Barton has been discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, her representative has confirmed, adding that she is "improving" and "doing well". "I can confirm that she's left the hospital with the intention to resume production" of her new CW show "The Beautiful Life: TBL", her rep Craig Schneider says in a statement. Notwithstanding the confirmation, Craig doesn't disclose on when exactly Mischa was released from the facility, cause of her hospitalization, and her recent whereabouts.
Two weeks ago, Mischa was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold, which is also known as a 5150, the same code used to hold pop superstar Britney Spears twice in Los Angeles back in January 2008. According to the code, authorities can hold a person involuntarily if they present a danger to themselves or others.
Mischa's admission to the psychiatric hold stemmed from a non-911 call made from her West Hollywood home at around 3 P.M. on July 15 for what was cited as "medical issue." Her hospitalization was initially reported to have delayed the shooting of her TV project, "The Beautiful Life: TBL". In fact, network chiefs at the CW have confirmed the hold-up was the result of unfinished sets and not of Mischa's hospitalization.
