Rapper Pitbull and producer Jim Jonsin have hit the studio together, working on Jennifer Lopez's new record.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez gets helping hands from rapper Pitbull in getting her new album done. Spilling the beans to public is Pitbull through a post on his Twitter. "Workin on records wit jim jonsin 4 Jlo," so he revealed.

In addition to working with Pitbull and Jim Jonsin, Jennifer has also hit studio with acclaimed producer Mike Caren who has helped Madonna, Beyonce Knowles, T.I. and Keyshia Cole making their hit singles. "J. Lo can't wait to make a huge comeback. She is working all the time and has so many projects coming up," her friend said back in October 2008.

In another news related to Jennifer Lopez, she is rumored to be considered as one of the "American Idol" judges after the show's host Ryan Seacrest told the press, "We love Paula [Abdul] - but Jennifer and her next to each other would be a hell of a combination. I'm actually calling one of the Simons [Simon Fuller and Simon Cowell] right now, that's a great, great idea."

A minute later after revealing his desire to have Jennifer on the Idol judges panel, Ryan reportedly was spotted on the phone saying, "Simon? Simon, it's Ryan. What do you think about Jennifer and Paula? Seriously..."
