Words that Robert Pattinson feels the pressure of becoming famous keep spreading all over the web, with the latest claim mentions the British hunk can't take it anymore living his life under the spotlight and being hounded by overly-devoted fans. An on-set source on the New York City shooting location of Robert's film "Remember Me" says, "It's crazy town. There are all these girls with a lot of hormones and a lot of time on their hands."
Some of the fans, according to the source, even leave their phone numbers on Robert's car and trailer with a note that read, "I think we're meant to be together. Call me." Of this the source reveals, "Rob's a nice guy - he doesn't want to disappoint people. He stops to say hello when he can, but he just can't do it a lot. People bring him gifts, but we can't take them - we don't know where they've come from."
"I worked on Gossip Girl with guys like Penn Badgley," the on-set source speaks further. "We'd go out after work and play beer pong. Nobody would bother them. There's no way Rob can do that. He'd be mobbed."
Earlier this week, New York Daily News reported the Edward Cullen depicter in "Twilight" is very annoyed by obsessive female fans in N.Y.C. that he desires to get back to his native Britain. "Robert is dying to get back home. He's so over everything. He's overwhelmed by all the girls - they terrify him!" said a source. "He says girls grab his neck and clothing all of the time, and he's not used to that. Fans don't do that to him in London. Everyone there is a little cooler about the fame thing, which is what he's used to." However, Robert himself has not yet addressed both reports.

No matter how much you like someone tugging at him and grabbing hs neck wont get you anywhere. Mabye walking up to him and asking some questions like "can I have an autograph" or "do you like it here in America" might be more suitable. He is not a toy or someone to get you in the spotlight, hes a person with feelings. I dont think even the person doing it would ike to be tugged at. I am personally not a fan of Robert but I do give a lot of advice and read whats goig on with his crazed fans.
I do understand Robert, but i do understand the girls too, it is a nice story that you put in your mind, and i'm pretty sure it's not about Robert but is character, Edward. (Sorry about the bad writing, portuguese...)

I can completely understand if he is fedup. He tries to be polite, gracious and freindly to the fans but they have in the past one or so taken way to much advantage of his approachability......if people (the fans especially) take a moment and realize he is a living, breathing humanbeing, in reality named Robert Thomas Pattinson and NOT Edward Cullen the fictional character, maybe just maybe this poor young man will get some peace....hang in there Rob....there are thoughs of us who really do respect and appreciate you God given gifts and no not to intrude in your personal space.....
I do not blame him i would be scared too! He is just a regular person. You girls have to get yourself together, cause he is probably never gonna come back to the U.S. knowing he will get mauled. You have yourselves to blame and you know who you are. Get a damn life!
This story has been circulating for the past 4 or 5 days. Old news and don't beleive a word of it. Rob appreciates his fans and will do whatever he can, outside of getting himself mauled or hurt, to show his appreciation. His bodyguards are the ones who is telling him not to encourage the fans and paps to keep the craziness down. Although, this is what fame is all about. I feel for poor Rob, but my hope is he finds a way to balance his personal life and career with as much minimal stress as possible.
robert is not stupid.he knows where his bread and butter came from.he will not jeopardize everything by bashing his fans.I know some of them are plain lunatic and obssessive,and cannot separate fantasy from reality .robert is just getting saturated with everything
Unless I heard it from robert pattinson lips.I will beleive that he said all of those thing that is written.he is very considerate and resfectful with his fans feeling .I dont condone with the acts of those obssessive and lunatic fans but rob personality doesnt fit the story

"he desires to get back to his native Britain" is not going to happen as a permanent residence - Summit won't allow it. Besides his filming - career is here! For a guy who CHOSE acting and music as his career - fans are part of the package. The Beatles survived the mayhem of fan frenzy and managed to create a balanced life. Summit, the Publicity Team and Rob's Agent need to get on the same page to help the Actor develop a normal life too - they are all making money off of him so they need to create the opportunity for him to have a balanced life beginning with a stable home life in the States away from location shoots but accessible to LA. Gee, every other successful entertainer in history has done it - can this Actor's PA not use the internet and find the guy a home to be based out of (not a hotel or apartment) and give the guy a place to be part of a community like Ashton and Demi?
